Today marks an exciting milestone for me and what I hope will become a valuable resource for Canadians everywhere. I'm Josh Armstrong, and I'm thrilled to officially launch CanadianCheck.ca!
Why I Built This Site
As a proud Canadian, I've always tried to support local businesses and buy Canadian-made products whenever possible. But I found myself constantly struggling to determine which products were actually made in Canada versus just sold by Canadian retailers. Reading labels, researching manufacturers, and trying to find Canadian alternatives became a time-consuming process.
That's when I realized there had to be a better way. What if there was a simple tool that could help Canadians quickly identify Canadian-made products and discover local alternatives? That's exactly what CanadianCheck.ca aims to do.
How It Works
Our platform uses advanced AI technology to analyze products and determine their Canadian manufacturing status. But we don't stop there – when a product isn't made in Canada, we suggest Canadian-made alternatives whenever possible. This helps you make informed decisions about your purchases while supporting local businesses.
